Making a change

If mindset is what is keeping you from having everything you want, shouldn't you just be able to change it? I mean, after all, it is your mind. It should be totally within your control, right?

Not necessarily! Changing practiced patterns of thought, which have become ingrained beliefs, can actually be one of the hardest things to do. One clue to this is in the word "mindset." When something has become set, it can be tough to loosen it up, and to shake free of it.

Any habits can be tricky to break, and a mindset that holds you back is something that usually comes from many years of thinking in the same way.


Plan Your work
and work your plan

If we are in agreement that a positive mindset is vital to a fulfilling life, and that changing a mindset that is not working for you is not the easiest thing to do, it stands to reason that a plan is needed.

There is an enormous amount of information available, both online, and in books, audio or video formats. A lot of this is potentially valuable, but just like having a gym membership doesn't necessarily equal a rocking body, a collection of motivational material does not guarantee success in creating a winning mindset
